November: In addition to preparing for the recording session of his new jazz orchestra album in beginning of 2026, Reini received a call from the RTV Big Band Ljubljana asking him to join them as a drummer. The band's 80th anniversary concert was celebrated with guest soloist Chris Potter, who had arranged his music especially for big band.

Reini conducted the Peter Lenz Jazz Orchestra featuring Efrat Alony in September. Peter composed and arranged the music and played the drums himself. The band went on a short tour, including a performance at the Porgy & Bess jazz club in Vienna.

In March 2025, the GMPU Jazz Orchestra performed with world-renowned drummer Ari Hoenig. His compositions were arranged by Ben Markley and rehearsed with the band under the direction of Reini P.-Schmölzer.

In addition to his performances as a drummer (i.e. w/David Helbock Trio), Reini also had several commissions as an arranger. He arranged the entire program for the Croatian Radiotelevision Orchestra featuring Boris Majcen, which was performed in Zagreb in May 2025. He also arranged several tracks for the Lungau Big Band featuring Chanda Rule. She was the soloist for the band's annual spring tour.
